How do you mean? I haven't noticed a difference yet.

Examples:
They' dhabi to <- they'd have to
It' setting hot <- it's getting hot
I might' ex done that <-- I might've done that

On the left is what autocorrect did. On the right is what I actually typed.

Yes, that looks similar to the autocorrect crap I get on all my devices and computers. That's why I turned it off. On text messages I abbreviate a lot and I use contractions but don't type the ' to save time.

Apparently it has been made smarter for guessing what you want when you never type the apostrophe for words like hell, its, shell, ill, etc. But it was so bad in iOS 6 that I just got in the habit of adding the punctuation. Also, I was getting to where I was leaving it out when typing on my computer and that' son good. On that note, I leave you to figure the end of that last sentence on your own. I TYPED IT RIGHT! 😤

For some reason (I forget what), I liked Mantano less than Moon+ when I first tried it last year. What I can't readily find on Android, is counterparts of such top-notch quality iOS apps as GoodReader (for PDF files) or Nebulous Notes (Dropbox plain-text editor). I will appreciate any recommendations. I like the looks of Android 4.3 a lot more than iOS 7. Suddenly, Android seems a lot smoother than iOS! The reversed situation from the past. Watching the butt-slow iOS 7 animations makes me sad & frustrated, at least for now. The battery life on the new Nexus 7 seems phenomenal: it dropped from 100% to 86% after 2.5 hours of use!

I've never been able to use iOS auto-correct; it works even worse for languages other than English. It seems most people in my country wish to turn it off as soon as they get a new iOS device. It's just badly designed: it's dumb because it does not learn as you continue using it, and you must actively tap away a suggestion if you do not wish to use it (I'd prefer the opposite: tap to accept the suggestion).

I hate autocorrect in EVERY OS I've used it, including Android, iOS, Windows, and Mac. I've had it replace a word with another that is spelled completely different! I personally think autocorrect functionalities for the various OSes must have been written by programmers who neglected to consult linguistic experts. All autocorrects over the years have remained at a beta level IMO, if not an alpha level. Its way past time they matured.

You should try swiftkey if you still have any android devices, the predictions are very good, and flowing rather than typing, in my opinion, is much faster.
