Oooh!

Nowmif only they would come out with a real audiobook, not that three-hour-long abridgement. How can you tell an Ann Rule book in three hours? Even the miniseries was longer than that.

The Inspector Morse is priced at $14.09 at Kobo.

Furthermore, that title is not listed for the discount 'SpringSave80.

Depends on region Spingsave80 is applicable to all non agency books the title is listed at £10.79 in the UK which would bring it down to £2.15

I'll confirm that the current codes springsave80 and springromance seem to work on any non-agency book that accepts discount codes (at least they did on the the ones I tested before chosing which two to actually buy).

A Witness Above (Frank Pavlicek Mystery Series, Book 1) by Anda Straka

Thirteen years ago, Frank Pavlicek left the NYPD under less than ideal circumstances.
Now, the divorced father of a teenage daughter, he works as a private investigator in Charlottesville, Virginia, where he indulges his passion for falconry - and tries to live outside the shadow of his past.
Frank is hunting with his red-tailed hawk, Armistead, when he finds it. A teenage boy's body - barely concealed behind a pile of brush in a part of the forest Frank recently visited with his daughter, Nicole. It's a truly gruesome crime scene - one of the many things Frank doesn't miss about working homicide in the big city.

But what Frank finds in the dead boy's wallet is even more disturbing: Nicole's phone number, scribbled in ink on the edge of a bill. He pockets the evidence and flees. Days later, his daughter is in jail. His past is coming back to haunt him. And his reputation - and life - are on the line...

Doesn't have to be on the list. It worked for me in the US - even though the initial price was way higher, with the SpringSave80 or SpringRomance codes (can't remember which I used on which books) it came out to be only two or three dollars. Perhaps in the UK or other countries, it might be an agency title...

I've logged into my UK account and applied the discount code and the price is as initially reported by Sufue.

Logging into Kobo with one's U.S. account is actually HIGHER - obscenely higher.

Strangers on a Train by Patricia Highsmith $2.99.

Quote:
A major new reissue of the work of a classic noir novelist.

With the acclaim for The Talented Mr. Ripley, more film projects in production, and two biographies forthcoming, expatriate legend Patricia Highsmith would be shocked to see that she has finally arrived in her homeland. Throughout her career, Highsmith brought a keen literary eye and a genius for plumbing the psychopathic mind to more than thirty works of fiction, unparalleled in their placid deviousness and sardonic humor. With deadpan accuracy, she delighted in creating true sociopaths in the guise of the everyday man or woman. Now, one of her finest works is again in print: Strangers on a Train, Highsmith's first novel and the source for Alfred Hitchcock's classic 1953 film. With this novel, Highsmith revels in eliciting the unsettling psychological forces that lurk beneath the surface of everyday contemporary life.

Free on Amazon - Behind Closed Doors by Michael Donavan

“There’s an instinct all investigators share: the lure of the curious. We’re like collectors rummaging through the shadowy corners of a bric-a-brac shop; we just can’t resist intrigue when it pops up.” Private Investigator Eddie Flynn is having a bad day. When some snot-nosed kid barges in with a story about a missing girl, it doesn’t get any better – especially since Rebecca Slater’s parents say nothing’s wrong. Problem is, the family are telling lies. Before he knows it Flynn’s following a trail that leads out of the Slaters’ mansion and straight into the gutter. Down among the rats Rebecca’s not the only girl who’s missing – and in a game where there’s no such thing as coincidence, how long will it be before Flynn disappears too?
