I really enjoyed this book from Neil, an easy fun read, I plan to read the rest of the series.

Does anyone know if there will be anymore Books By the Bay Mysteries? I read the first one and liked it a lot! I believe it's by Ellery Adams.

I have VERY good news for you! The second one comes out next month! (March). There will be at least one more after that, too. Not only that, but Ellery Adams (who is also Jennifer and JB Stanley, by the way), is giving away a Kindle. Go to her site for details:

Oh that's so great! Thanks for telling me. I'd been looking around for word of a second installment but I never found anything so I had given up. I'm really glad to hear that. I loved the characters in that book. I couldn't hardly relate to the main character at all, but for some reason I liked that. I mean, I didn't have really many similarities with her. But it made it an interesting read and it just had a different feel than from what I'm used to reading. It was warm and fuzzy in a different sort of way.

Lovely! I'll put that on my to-buy list.

Also, how neat about the giveaway! I'll have to tell someone I know. She really wants a kindle now that she's played with mine.

Would anyone be interested in my personal "new releases" list? I compile it for several months ahead, according to what I can find at FictFact, Fantastic Fiction, Facebook, author blogs, etc. and so forth?

That would be cool, yeah! I should try to keep a list like that. (: I use fictfact to keep track of my progress on series just so I feel less insane. I don't read series back to back usually. I tend to read a few books in between to spead out the loove. Plus I read a few different genre types, so I try to switch it up with what kind of book I'm reading. Anyway now that I'm done rambling, my point was I should try to keep a list of upcoming new releases and maybe a personal list of what to read next so I don't have to constantly go through my Amazon wishlist and sigh, wondering what to buy next!

And yes, I would like to see your list!

I love FictFact, even though I don't have even close to every series I read on mine. I read a couple of different genres too, so let me clean them up and combine them (right now I'm keeping them separate by genre in OneNote) and I'll make something out of it suitable for posting.

EDIT: Ok, here we go. I just posted the Cozies list here. There may still be a few that aren't Cozy on it though. I started doing this just throwing everything in one list before I got so interested in Urban Fantasy and I'm not sure it's all cleaned out yet.

You should use a spreadsheet! Makes it so much easier to move around when dates change.

Great list Thanks!

That is a very nice list! I am such a list person, I appreciate when other people make well organized ones. I took down a few titles to add to my "look up" list. I have one of those on my Blackberry so whenever I'm sitting around with nothing to do - which is kind of rare but still - I can look up a few books and see if I want to give them a shot. I've started doing a "To Read Next" list in Excel earlier today, inspired by the listiness talked about in this thread! And of course, my Amazon wishlists are the most organized things I have as far as keeping track of future reading goes.

I really need to fix my GoodReads shelves. They worked for me before but now I find them to not be what I need/like.

What exactly IS Urban Fantasy?

Well, actually, this started out in OneNote. It's in a grid pattern there, but I didn't think that would transfer well, so I copy/pasted into Word.

Umm. Well, my definition of UF may vary from someone else's but basically it's fantasy and/or paranormal set in an urban setting and with minimal romance/sex. Or at least sex/romance isn't the main focus.
I switched to Shelfari because Goodreads wasn't doing it for me. It takes the right mindset though - a few times I've gotten lazy and haven't updated it. But I am having more fun with Shelfari than with Goodreads.
