Waiting on the crockpot to soak after I made a roast in it. Trying to decide if I have the enthusiasm to go make Capirotada (Mexican Bread Pudding). I have the ingredients, just don't know about the energy.

It has - tasted good in very small amounts, but otherwise far too sweet (I blame the cherry jam) and the consistency was not what I was aiming for.

Jams are very variable - I like Bonne Maman the best; it's the only brand I'll add to my morning porridge.

I'll definitely have to try it

(I never used to like hairy or overly seedy/pippy fruit either because of the hairs, seeds and pips, but the taste won me over)

Just finished sending out all the links and coupon codes to the soldiers, sailors, pilots, etc. on the Operation eBook Drop list...whew. I remember what serving overseas is like. I hope they get some enjoyment from it!

I'm mopping up my desk. Got into work, picked up a full can of Pepsi One and promptly dropped it. Of course it fell over. Of course the paper towels are in the room down the hall. Now I have papers hanging from every drawer pull, door knob, etc drying out. And a shiny desk top. At least there was no sticky sugar mess.
(Hope nobody notices those embarrassing brown tide marks on any papers they receive from me today).
