Yeah, I use 'purchase' in a generic sense.

I hope you're right about the Preview. If it is only in the Preview, why would something like that occur? ----- (Calling all computer gurus for an explanation in English....Not that there's anything wrong with 'gurus' or 'English'!)

I'm still debating on whether or not I want to read it.

That is a good question. I suppose my AZW could have all those error and Calibre fixed them all in the conversion to ePub. I doubt it. But who knows?

Yeah, I get that. I only post freebies when the story sounds especially intriguing or if the author is someone I've heard of. The story on this one sounds like nothing new.

But I do know of Ike Hamill and have purchased a couple of his books. Haven't read them. But at least a few of his books had the right combination of synopsis magic and reviews to make me part with my $$$

Gills by Abe Moss is $0.99 at Amazon US.

I wasn't sure about sharing this one. I have The Writhing by Abe, but I haven't yet read it (I could copy/paste this statement from so many of my messages). But there's two things in its favor:
  1. Mermaid horror
  2. That cover

Also, the reviews are very good.
