Hi, could someone please assist with a copy of the latest SD image for an old Kobo Wifi N647? My old Kobo was going so well with its replacement 3D printed buttons, but the SD card got corrupted and now it will not boot.

Have a new SD 2GB card, just cannot seem to locate firmware image for this older, but still perfectly good model anywhere

Happy New Year! I tried updating the firmware of my N647 last night to try to get it to display additional fonts. But the upgrade process "brick" the machine. Is it possible for me to get a copy of the SD Image?

I also read into the instructions for the Glo listed in earlier posts, am i understand correctly, the image for N647 is only referencing the SD card part and we don't need to open up the device (as per step 1 of the glo instruction)?

I took a look at the Glo instructions posted in earlier post, am I correct that the SD image fix is only following the SD portion of the Glo instructions and will not require us to open up the N647 physically?

You will need to open the N647. The image is written to the internal µSD card which is not completely exposed over a USB connection.

There is a YouTube video about opening the case, etc. which gives a lot of credit to the late great davidfor.
