Oh, well done! I regret to say it's only just over a fortnight since I last bought a book.

But I am managing to reduce my TBR. Hopefully under 330 by the end of April.

Thank you both! Having already purchased the series I want to read this year has helped a great deal. I think I have all of the available books in all 5 series, minus one or two still in hardcover, so I'm not on Amazon everyday, which lessens/removes temptation. It also means that I haven't been downloading free books, either.
Of course, should I get through all of those series in a timely fashion, I will once again be in the danger zone.

Congratulations PD on tackling your TBR, list!! That will probably be my challenge for next year.

I succumbed to Kobo's 75/90 % off coupons and purchased 4 books on my wishlist. Total cost? 10 dollar for 4 books. I am happy, since the list price is 15 dollar for at least two of them.

Otherwise, I am focusing on my tbr list.

Every time I try to be good, something tempting comes up again. The last four Kobo 75/90% off coupons pushed my "ebooks bought this year" (i.e. everything that wasn't free) to 101.

And I've just bought nine more ebooks in the current Fictionwise 60% off sale. They're books 2-10 in the Gideon Oliver series. I bought the first a while back and enjoyed it, so I might as well take advantage of this excellent discount. They were all on my fictionwise wishlist.

But it does mean my read:bought ratio has dipped below 2.0 and my TBR has gone back up above 340.

So much for being below 330 at the end of April!

Maybe if you read 10 short books very quickly you can make your goal?

You won't regret buying the Gideon Olivers, though. They get a lot better starting with the 3rd book* and are really lots of fun.

* And if you did like the direction of the 1st book, which is kind of atypical for the series, Elkins has another series and some standalones which go with that style/plotline instead, only with art theft. You can get useful tips on how to spot and create forgeries to go with the ones on how to tell how people really died by the marks left on their bones.
