That is nothing. I go through 3-4 liters of water a day making tea at work.

Today it was 2 pots of Rooibos Capetown, 2 pots of Lapshong (sp), and 2 pots of Genmaicha.

each pot = 2, 12 ounce cups. So 12 cups at work. I'll make more at home.

Hey, my little Doney girl
Don't you guess better be making your wedding dress
Wedding dress, wedding dress
Better be making your wedding dress

Well, It's already made
Trimmed in green prettiest thing you've ever seen
Ever seen, ever seen
Prettiest thing you've ever seen

[I've been preparing for my son's wedding.]

Good Tuesday, all. Another rainy day to get the new rice started off right. A mug of East India Company's Royal Breakfast tea to get me started off right!

I've given up on NBTea. Although one of their blacks was 'good,' it certainly wasn't 'great,' so why put up with it?

I think a second mug of East India Royal Breakfast is in order...

Curious. You said it over here and at the same time I said to my other half yesterday night that there is only one NBTea's tea I am interested in Assam Hazelbank FTGFOP1 but I have many Assam teas from my February London foray that will last me for 1 year at the very least, so not even this one.
No black, green, oolong or pu-erh.
Well, I am lying. Their Sencha Uji and Dragonwell are good.
They are good for tisanes. Lapacho, Rooibos.

There is another online shop I would like to investigate but they are expensive and I am not sure it is justified. More likely that the prices are upped because they are dealing with Fair Trade whose certs probably cost a lot of money, thus rising products prices. JING Tea. We will see.
I am going to shop around for Milk Oolong. I am surprised by the difference between the two I have tried so far. Also surprised by relative scarcity of the tea. Fortnum and Mason, The East India Company, Jing Tea, NBTea, Chah, Pekoe Tea, Eteaket do not stock it.
I brought a small sample of a good Milk Oolong (Tea House Emporium, Bath) to the office today to try it here.

Meanwhile, cuppa #2.
Assam Mangalam.
finished

There was a slight panic at the office just now: our coffeemachine broke down Luckily there was still hot water, so I made a cup of Rooibos shooting star to go with my midmorning snack (watermelon). Yum It's going to be a hot day again, so my bottle of water is standing nearby.

I think most of us serious tea drinkers go through several liters each day. I know I'm good for 3-4 liters a day.

I asked a well-respected nutritionist about the amount of tea I was consuming, thinking that perhaps it might not be so healthy. All she asked was "are you bothered by the caffeine? If not, then enjoy! If anything, it's keeping you hydrated, and cleaning out your kidneys!"

I'm giving my kiddlies a rinse of East India Company's Ceylon tea. I just found it today in a Kyoto Import shop and thought I'd give it a try. I have to say, it's got better flavor than the Fortnum & Mason Ceylon! (But Fortnum & Mason's 'Royal Blend' is tastier than East India Company's 'Royal Breakfast.')

From what I have read, Milk Oolong is hand processed which makes it more rare and more expensive. There are some stores that try and sell an Oolong that has been scented or have added milk to the Oolong somehow to duplicate the flavor but that does not work. It is suppose to be tea picked right after a sudden temperature drop which gives it its unique flavor.

I just had a cup of Milk Oolong.
WOW!
Its flavour overpowers unfiltered water drawbacks.
I am ordering tonight 2 or 3 bags. It is so nice to enjoy a tea in the office, not only at home.

Milk Oolong

Very particular weather conditions are required to produce this tea. As such supply is sometimes unavailable, at which point some sellers will substitute it with a flavoured Oolong.

Golden Needle, China black.
It goes better with food than on its own. Enjoyable.
