try it the other way around:

get famous.
get lynched.
naming buildings, boulevards and schools after you.
depends on what you did - become a saint.

That's okay -- I recognized that I *should* know the name Jim Morrison, but I needed the reference to recall it. So I'm glad it was answered!

Just got back from vacation with family, and I'd rather have stayed there! All ranges of niece/nephews, from 22-ish down to 2. Wish they didn't grow up so darned FAST.
