I've got a new book out. See the sig below for details.
It's called the Tower of Sheagil and it is only available on Smashwords (for now, until the backlog there clears). My fantasy books are a little different from most I see. Don't get me wrong here, I love reading Tolkien etc, but that isn't what I write. Sure, we're long ago and people wave swords about and there's magic and the odd dragon. But no one saves the world, with or without a magic ring. And there are no elves or dwarves either. What started as a kind of holiday, traveling through Relanor, takes an odd turn and then a sinister one. Odd because Falia and Olcish are still switching places. Sinister when Falia gets a message meant for Olcish from someone she thought was only a legend. Sheagil has unfinished business. It follows on from The White Fox. It just might work stand-alone, but you're better off reading the others first. |

Some updates on my historical espionage thriller The Losing Role:
The New Podler Review of Books gave the novel its Independent Novel Award: Best of 2010. My favorite line from the write-up: "Enough dramatic tension to saw a Panzer in half." Over at Stimulated Outlet Book Reviews, Alice Yeh recommends the book and gives a well-written review that really gets to the heart of the story. Delighted to see that my book, What Ukulele Players Really Want To Know is now doing well in both Amazon US and UK charts - at one point it went to number 3 in the UK Music book chart - rubbing shoulders with Keith Richards and Ozzy Osbourne - wow!
