Thanks David for the quick reply.

Ah, didn't know that. I'm looking at a bricked Kobo Aura HD. Doesn't want to boot up, no matter what I try (soft/hard reboot, factory reset, etc.).

The internal SD seems to work fine when I take it out and connect it to my computer. I do see some additional partitions (in Mac using Disk Utility) of around 268MB that are not mounted. I might have to check on a linux computer what kinds of partitions those are.

I assume it's not the screen either that is broken: I swapped the internal SD from my old Glo, and the Aura gave me a striped screen instead of he blank one from before.

Any suggestions how to unbrick it?

Hi, my Glo HD suddenly stopped turning on a couple months ago (it gets stuck with the red led on) and I can't seem to be able to read the SD card contents. Tried charging, factory reset with the touchscreen and with the reset button but neither fixed the issue.

Would it be possible to get a copy of the image for Kobo Glo HD so I can try resetting it?

My kobo glo has been unusable for years now because I misplaced the SSD card. I recently decided to bunker down and see if I could get to the bottom of this problem and I came upon this website. Please send me an image so I can try breathing life into my kobo.
