Audible Romance Package post

I believe more titles have been added. I went back and checked some author collections and found more titles.

I am working my way through Robyn Carr's Virgin River series, Cindy Gerard's Bodyguard series, Eve Langlais' Bitten Point series, Vivian Arend's Six Pack series. Also Marie Force's Fatal series, though #4 is not included so I may just skip that one. Will also be starting Rachel Vincent's Soul Screamers series. Other titles I currently have checked out are Dark Celebration by Christine Feehan, Night of the Tiger by N.J. Walters, Never Cry Wolf by Cynthia Eden.

I love, love, love this All you can Listen feast of audio books! I have well over 200 titles in my wish list, and more that I didn't put in the list (series books). You can also now sort the wish list by genre.

Some authors in my wishlist include Patricia Rice, Allyson James, Sarah McCarty, Karen Robards, Mandy Roth, Michelle Pillow, C.E. Murphy, Kristen Ashley, Amanda Quick, Roxanne St Clair, Catherine Anderson, Jax Garen, Grace Burrowes, Janet Chapman, Maggie Shayne, Deidre Knight, Zoe Archer, Carla Neggers, Gena Showalter, Christine Warren, Mary Balogh, Shiloh Walker, Rosalind James, Sharon Sala, Lisa Jackson.

My greatest fear is that authors will pull titles I have marked that I want to borrow.

I think eventually we will see more and more added. Right now it's an experiment. I'm listening to Liz Talley's The Spirit of Christmas before that I listened to The Governess Affair by Courtney Milan. My biggest hope is for them to add Lisa Kleypas if they do that I can drop Scribd.

I have the Audible romance package as well. Although I haven't finished anything I downloaded yet as part of the package I think it's a very good deal. There are enough titles that aren't on Hoopla or Overdrive. I rarely if ever re-listen to audiobooks, so I'd rather be able to borrow them than own them forever. I'm not using Scribd much, so I've thought about dropping it this year.
Thanks for the replies about my Kindle upgrade. I have the original Paperwhite so it's five years old already. It's way overdue for an upgrade, considering how much I've used it. I really want the 3G+WiFi option and while there's a reasonably-priced refurbished Kindle Voyage on Amazon, the cheapest 3G Paperwhites are really price--almost as much as the entry-level Oasis!

I'd stick with WIFI. Anything 3G is going to have horrible battery life. The battery is small enough without adding 3G to drain it.

I wouldn't shell out extra for 3G. Of course, I know some people like to have it. But I personally don't have any need for it.

Wifi and 3g
Just my 2 cents, but I personally can't live without my 3 g. It means that I can order books anywhere. When someone mentions a book or I see something interesting, I go up to the store and download a sample - much better than trying to remember the right book later. When traveling I've found the 3g much more reliable than wifi no matter if I'm in Pennsylvania or India (its much harder to get connection in some parts of PA). It might save me money not to have the 3g, and I'm sure I order more because its more convenient, but it is worth the lack of hassle.

Don't try to order a book from McDonald Observatory or the Davis Mountains State Park or most of the surrounding area. Very few cell towers in that area.

I’ll be looking into some of the authors in your list. When you mentioned the Audible Romance Package before I when to have a look and was quite surprised because I found several authors that write romantic suspense that I like, so I decided to try it, my trial month is almost over but I will keep it.

I’ve been listening to Karen Rose’s suspense series from the 15th book and I’m now on the 18th and I’m loving it, I loved the previous books that I read but I think I even like it more in audio, I think the performer does a great job, which is very important to me, I’ve dropped several books in the past because of the narration.

I’ve even decided that I should buy an echo dot to listen to the audiobooks when I’m in the kitchen, so I don’t have to touch my phone when I want it to pause or play, but unfortunately I found that amazon does not sell them to countries where there are no amazon stores, which is a shame.
