I am told that a US user can 'give as gift' a ebook to another user

This doesn't work if the book isn't available in the donee's area but a recent poster said he, on Amazon.co.uk, had had a gift from the US.

So since this book is available, just at a full price, perhaps something could be tried.

Unfortunately, I don't know anyone living in the US or with a US issued credit card... Of course, if there is anyone who wants to do swapsies with UK discounted books (assuming the gift giving works reciprocally!), then perhaps something can be done...

Actually, based on the info that they're novellas, I'm gonna pass. $1.99's a good bargain for a full-length book, not so much for a novella.
