Website error. Can't download, when I hit the Download link, I get another page that says "service not available".

I tried the Harlequin app but that doesn't let you log into your account even so you can download your books that way. Not sure why they have an app, you can't really do much with it.

Mine works fine. I think it could be a specific server the new titles are on maybe? It could be a bad link. I got 15 free book codes from their rewards program. I've never purchased anything to get the points. It's well worth it.

Hemmi I would try copying the download link to a text file then find another CP book that does download and compare the URLs see if there is anything different other than their unique handlers. Sometimes you can get lucky that way seeing a bad link can be fixed.

LA, you were right the CP book I bought is drm free.

LA, you were right the CP book I bought is drm free.

I tried this and the links appear identical for me other than the numbers, etc on the end.

The email response they finally sent today said tech was working on it.

This issue is recent with only the new Carina Press releases at random. It's not all of them and I am confident they will get it working. They usually have very responsive customer service. And as Blossom said you can earn lots of points on the free activities and get free books. It's a very nice program overall.

Another one of those "is it mystery or is it romance" titles....

In the end, this looks more like romance to me, even though Amazon has it listed under mystery. A Stolen Rose is the fourth in the Archer Family Regency Romances series by Amy Corwin. I have read and quite liked her "Second Son" regency mystery series (also sort of is-it-mystery-is-it-romance), but haven't read any of these, so am quite happy to see this one drop to free at Amazon US, so I can try it.

Yes, this is the only problem I've ever had downloading from Harlequin. Like library addict said, the issue is with the newer Carina Press titles. I did get the book for free with a coupon code, I can be patient until they fix it. I have at least 500 other books to read in the meantime.

It is? The rewards page is telling me I need another 1,000 points for a free book. That's after earning 2,000 points for signing up and another 2,000 for completing the profile.

Since the profile survey asked about what I like to read I'm now hoping future recommendations are based on my answers. Impressively sneaky way to do some market research.

Never mind. I found the Redeem Points tab, and there's a button there that says I will get a coupon for a free ebook in return for 2,000 points. I'm set!

I use the ebook reward. I think there is a two code limit a day so you can get two codes a day if you have the points. However you can only redeem one code a day at the store or they lock your account.

I have next to no interest in paper books, so this will be great. I can limit myself to collecting one book per day.

I got mine at Google Play using reward credit.

I like that Amazon now alerts you to price drops on your wish list.

If you buy from Google Play make sure you have ADE 2.0 or newer installed. It will not download on older versions. It took me awhile to figure that out.

Yes they do. I use Amazon as a wish list source.

There is no pattern to activities sometimes there is more than two a week so it's best to check everyday. The Facebook activity resets about twice a week. It's worth 200 points. There is a one time 100 points each for liking Harlequin on Facebook and Twitter.

I've never gotten more than one code a day. But have had no issues buying two books in one day. I have done that multiple times, The first time my account was locked was because I bought 4 books in one day. I've never tried to buy three.

Also, ScalyFreak, don't sign in under two different browsers at the same time. That got me locked out the last time.
