I'd take anyone who serves me a decent cup of coffee right now! Haven't had a coffee in about two months now...

Very yummy, and also very healthy! I usually make smoothies in the weekend, because I don't have time during the week. But I make a lot, so it lasts me 2 days.

Is there a reason for this abstinence?

In my cup: Rooibos baked apple

It was a necessity for me. I had teeth extraction and could eat only mashed food for 5 months. So, smoothie became one of the main meals for that period.

He would be your enemy in a long run. In a couple of months the coffee craving will subside and in 4-5 months reduce to nothing but a distant memory, utterly flavourless.
Tea is your toyman!

Well, I spent a fortune on tea and just can't justify to spoil my palate with the harsh stuff. Astra is right, you have to coffee-de-train your taste buds for the subleties of a good tea.

Like me, I can taste the difference between Ahmad (my favorite), Golestan, Tiba and loose leaves tea.

In my cup: I just had a black tea (leaves)at the bazaar and bought and ate a pound of sweet strawberries with it. (=lunch).

I know, you're both right. I have actually in the last month (before the current discussion, honest) been thinking about giving up on coffee. Every day I decide I'll start tomorrow. Is that the definition of an addict?

Dunno

I have virtually zero willpower. I am aware about this drawback. So, I usually am proactive, using preventative approach vs. reactive

Thanks, guys. That is the simple way my grandmother used to make mint juleps. Miss you, Grammy. This recipe should help only she used blended, "soft" Irish whiskey instead of bourbon.

In other news, I am out of tea! This is a terrible thing because I need to make a couple of pitchers of iced tea today. I love the iced tea I get when I put loose tea in my iced tea maker (you guys are right about that for sure loose>bags). Off to the store and the mail, then I will spend as much of the day as possible reading and drinking said iced tea (Twinings Earl Grey, I think, that is what the grocery store has loose).
