Thanks for the quick reply.

Unless you are recommending this - because you have read it and you think it's excellent - then Self-published ebooks should not be posted here.

I only posted it here because it was free for the day. i.e. Deals and freebee's. It wouldn't fit under self-promotion as I am not the author.

Kim Stanley Robinson's The Green Earth, which is a revised version and abridged version of the eco-thriller trilogy Forty Signs of Rain, Fifty Degrees Below, and Sixty Days and Counting is on sale, probably today only, for $1.99. I own and liked the original trilogy, but I'm on the fence over buying this because I own the original trilogy and having an abridged version with updated science doesn't sound compelling to me. Still, if you haven't read the originals, and you don't believe climate change is a hoax, you might enjoy this one.

David Brin's short story collection "Insistence of Vision" is down to $1.99 at Amazon.

I haven't read this one yet, just got the note from EreaderIQ, but apparently there is an Uplift story in this collection.

Bought 2 of them! --- Thank you!

(Three more put in my Wish List, which I'll probably buy before the day ends. All the rest, I already own.)

A GREAT AUTHOR!

Bought three of them - it looks like if you're just patient you'll eventually be able to get all of these at $1.99. The first books of each of the Deryni series have been on sale in the recent past.

Thorn by Intisar Khanani is currently 99c in most countries.
This is self published and I have read and enjoyed it as well as other books by the author.
This is a retelling of the The Goose Girl fairytale, so if you like that sort of book you may enjoy this.

For Princess Alyrra, choice is a luxury she’s never had … until she’s betrayed.
Princess Alyrra has never enjoyed the security or power of her rank. Between her family’s cruelty and the court’s contempt, she has spent her life in the shadows. Forced to marry a powerful foreign prince, Alyrra embarks on a journey to meet her betrothed with little hope for a better future.
But powerful men have powerful enemies—and now, so does Alyrra. Betrayed during a magical attack, her identity is switched with another woman’s, giving Alyrra the first choice she’s ever had: to start a new life for herself or fight for a prince she’s never met. But Alyrra soon finds that Prince Kestrin is not at all what she expected. While walking away will cost Kestrin his life, returning to the court may cost Alyrra her own. As Alyrra is coming to realize, sometime the hardest choice means learning to trust yourself.

I would suggest the mods create a sub forum/or add on to the present sticky for about what is and isn't allowed so people don't forget about such. After all it isn't reasonable for us to be expected to remember what exactly was written in post #1 of a (now) 74 page/10 month old thread. I mean there is a thread about affiliate links not being allowed, and to keep self-promotion out of the deals forum but how many people go back to the 1st post of the forum on a regular basis? Of course I also thought they should have kept the Christian fiction/religion ebook sticky instead of bumping it for the tablets/ereader/media player forum too but that is another matter.
