You will then see play and download. click either, listen to the sample, then click on Continue.

Books that take a credit have a different button.

You MUST be logged in before starting the sample, otherwise the choices only are ones that use credits.

Theodore Dreiser's An American Tragedy (1925) is nothing less than what the title holds it to be; it is the story of a weak-willed young man who is both villain and victim (the victim of a valueless, materialistic society) and someone who ultimately destroys himself. Dreiser modeled the story of Clyde Griffiths on a real-life murder that took place in 1906; a young social climber of considerable charm murdered his pregnant girlfriend to get her out of the way so that he could instead play to the affections of a rich girl who had begun to notice him.

Tubeguy, your coding is too complex. It's difficult to quote you, unless a person quotes the entire message.

Simon & Schuster's sale . . . . A couple of comments for those who haven't checked into it yet. The prices are great. It's very light (in fact, non-existent) on non-fiction and it's very heavy on erotic romance--I guess S&S knows what sells.

You need an account of some sort. Either a current one or a former one. I'm a former member. I had a trial membership and then cancelled.


Edit: I currently have 29 audiobooks from them; all free.
