I noticed that Audible's monthly sale titles are available on Googleplay for the same price, at least the ones I checked were. Googleplay is drm free.

Thanks for this; I'd love to pick up the occasional sale title to play on my MP3 player. However, the first one I checked had an eye-popping $19 differential! So just an observation that it's not across the board (having noted your disclaimer).

Yeah, forgive me for going off-topic but Amazon is about to run some "special day" a-la Prime Day, Don't know what they'll call it this quarter, but in addition to the 3-month promo they have just pulled the digital credit for Slo-mo shipping and gone back to the 6% cash back (instead of the usual 5%). If you have an Amazon Visa they do this every time they run specials nowdays. Instead of getting $0.75 back you'll end up with $0.15 for your $15 purchase.

There is a Humble Bundle out right now for romantic fantasy dramatized audiobooks, by Graphic Audio. These are not standard audiobooks, read by a narrator or narrators, but are more like dramatized adaptions or audio screenplays. I have a few GA books and have liked them. I posted the bundle in the Romance thread, since the titles lean more romance-y than fantasy-ish, IMO.

I've noticed that Chirp is featuring a number of titles in this Audible sale for $6 a pop in what they are calling a "flash sale". I do love competition. If you can't find two titles you want or simply prefer to save your credits, might be worth a look.
