We had sport classes in Universities in Soviet Union! In Western world you don't have must do sport classes in Universities. I find it hard to get around this idea that there are countries that do it today.

i went to law school. No sports there
Now i study at the faculty of political science. We have PE as a subject. I go hiking 6 saturdays per semester.

I've always thought is was ridiculous to grade for athletic ability. knowledge of the sport? sure, but not ability. I'm a brilliant skier, an excellent horsewoman, a crack shot, lettered in track, yet all but failed most of my PE classes

I had to take a gym class in college, it was a general education requirement. I took badminton.

Foul Shots are not easy to make. Lay-ups aren't too bad. Then again, I played for four years in high school.
