It's chilly, clear and beautiful outside with a crescent moon, but it should be colder! It's January, for Crissakes! |

It's been warm and wet this week. I'm thinking I might should mow the lawn this weekend.

No chance for grass to grow in the fenced-in portion of my yard, either. Loving dog the size of a Pizza Hut has torn our lawn up. Got a nice lake started from all the rain, though.

Down here in Melbourne we have been having very hot weather but the change seems to have come now with some rain, but not enough - our water tanks are nearly empty. I hope you aren't badly affected by the deluges Queensland has been having, SneakySnake. |

COLD!!! -1°C may not sound like much, but with the wind chill it feels much colder! I had to check that my ears were still attached when I got to the office this morning. Now I'm scared of going back home. Tomorrow I'll wear a hat!

I used to ride a Sportster, so I know all about wind chill factors. 30 degrees F is plenty cold if you have to stay in it for any lengthy of time, especially if the winds are kicking up.

Sunshine and the mid twenties (Celsius) here - a perfect day. Never mind northerners - your turn will come.

After days of unnaturally warm temps (lows in the 50's / highs in the 60's F) - cold again (29 F this morning) with more rain coming this weekend.
