I've got the pay every other month for an Audible credit plan, and I've got access to the sale. It's funny, but a lot of book 1's seem to be a higher price then the rest of the series. And, you don't have to be a US citizen to participate, you just need an Amazon.com account.

Also, the shopping cart has a cap of 50 books, since I tried adding more then 50 and got an error message, so I have to break up the order into a second order.

But Drew's enchanting persistence is making Jane realise that mending old wounds and a homegrown romance may in fact be the only way to start a fresh new chapter.

I noticed that about the first in series books, too.

I've been buying some everyday, so I never ran into the cart cap. I've bought 76. Hopefully I'm done!

This is probably a really dumb question, but what does it mean, when looking at books while signed in in Audible, when there is a little arrow in the orange-y button where it usually says "Add to cart" and then in the grey button that usually says "Add to wishlist", it says "Add to Library". See the attached thumbnail...

Does this really mean that these are free audiobooks? I find that hard to believe of Audible, but maybe? I tried one, and it just now looks like any other book I've bought, and appears in my library, just as normal. And it doesn't look as if I've been charged anything. But OTOH, it doesn't show up on my purchase page as purchased...which I guess I'd didn't...

Or does it mean that I somehow bought these, maybe on the Kindle site, and now I can add them to my Audible library. I find that hard to believe, because I have found a whole lot of these for a bunch of Catherine Aird's books. Granted, she's one of my totally favorite mystery authors, so I might have done such a thing if the audiobooks were really cheap sometime on the Kindle website. But I think I would have remembered buying so many!

Or are they maybe temporarily free, to try to get me to then eventually buy them?

I clearly don't do much with audiobooks, but the 85% sale got me started looking, and then these all popped up on Aird's page....

Anyway, apologies if this has been asked-and-answered a million times before...

Yes those are free with your Audible subscription. Really brings a lot of value to the subscription! "Audible Premium Plus" is the name of the subscription. They are yours to keep as long as they remain in the program. There doesn't appear to be a limit to how many you can "add to library" I currently have a LOT. Occasionally books in my account or my WL will show an expiration date.

My biggest problem is that they don't have a tab or any way of separating these books in a list from your owned titles. Especially in the phone app, they just look like regular books. I do keep track on a spread sheet, otherwise the only way to know is to look through my library on my desk top computer.

This means that the title is part of the Audible Plus catalog, so if you are a member (Audible+ or Premium) you can listen to these free, but you don't own them. This applies to a bunch of the Calleshire Chronicles. The Audible+ catalog is actually pretty extensive, it's keeping me busy without a Premium membership. You can play directly in the browser, or Save in your library.

Just click in the left hand box "Plus Catalog" to filter out titles that are *not* available. Have fun! And BTW thanks for all the lovely posts of free and reduced price deals that you post daily, you are super appreciated even though we don't say it to you enough!

And thank you both, that makes sense that they are part of the "subscription" program. Which will be a bit iffy, since I have long periods when I go without a subscription. But, WTH, better this than nothing...

I get my 3rd credit on June 23rd (yay!) from my free 3 month trial, so will spend them on 6 Georges Simenon Maigret tiles in this sale. Since I have bought several Maigret Kindle ebooks from Amazon UK (mostly free or on sale for 99p), I see that I can also qualify for Whispersync audio titles for £3.49 each.

BTW it appears that my Amazon UK account now likes my US credit card with USA billing address as I can now use it freely for purchases at Amazon and Audible without jumping through hoops and gifting myself gift cards and so on.
