Your cache path suggests you may be a macos user. We've seen mac users need to set Calibre's openers_by_scheme tweak for open_pages_in_browser.

I don't suppose there's any solution for the double X/Y, X&Y either. Cant put conditional the same category.

Change all '/' to '&' or vice versa? Or to some other third character? Use a .NOREPL copy of ships for the conditional?

The .norepl might work. I don't want to remove all the &s as they're for platonic relationships.

Don't know why people double-tag them tbh. If I'm looking for x&y stories, is annoying when its all cluttered up with the x/y.
