[GUI Plugin] Reading Goal

Something has changed and it should be changed back. I used to be able to manually enter today's date and the %. Then Reading Goal would accept that and show me the updated values in the chart. That's no longer working. I really do not want to have to plug in my Kobo every single day. That's not good for the battery.

That hasn't changed. How are you doing this? You have a few options:

1. If the book is not on your goal and you are adding it:
   1. First, check the config option Allow adding other year's reading goal
   2. Add the book as usual
   3. In the dialog shown, click on the Date button and set the desired date
2. If the book is already on your goal. You can add a new record with the chosen date:
   1. If you want to update the current record, just set the date on your calibre custom column and change the %. The date must be changed first, since changing the % will trigger the new record.
   2. You can also add an intermediate record via Edit reading goal > Edit book's records > Add a new record > Choose the date and the %.

It is working properly. It's my mistake. I didn't add the book.

But thanks for the directions. They did help me see that I didn't add this book.
