Fox eat rodents, birds, frogs and insects. They can scavenge at times but less than cats. It's an animal that can survive on very little food, running all day.

grrrrrr! I just saw that the Cane Corso is being accepted into the AKC. it's bad enough that pits are still allowed (I know, I know W.T.), but these dogs are almost as bad. the dog, kindle kitten and I lived with one in California. it is a horrid horrid breed! they like to crop their ears and tales to make them look fierce and in the "old days" it was done so they wouldn't be torn while fighting. just disgusting!

Just back from the eye doctor. First off, I should have expected them to need to dilate my eyes, but I didn't, because they didn't do it at the last exam I had. But today she said she needed to or I'd have to come back, but that "most people are able to drive after dilation". Well, evidently I'm one that can't. I walked outside and my eyes immediately started tearing up and I couldn't see a blasted thing. So I very carefully navigated us (Jay was with me, fortunately) down the block to the nearest shop, which was Walmart, and we hung out in there until I stopped weeping and could see.
Second off - we have what I consider to be pretty good vision insurance. But the place I went today does not handle "low end" polycarbonate lenses, which apparently are what my eye insurance covers. I ended up not getting to order glasses today because of this, and I was scared to even ASK how much they would want to put prescription sunglass lenses in the Brighton frames I've now had for over seven years. *sigh*. I will admit the Brighton sunglasses came in handy today though. I put them on over my regular glasses to see well enough to drive us home.

Okay, I think I got it partially working....did not generate the key properly...or maybe that had to do with my Adobe ID getting changed/screwed up in trying to install photoshop cs5......

I usually wear three layers of sunglasses, to drive after being dilated. One (or two) of the flat sheets the office has available, plus two (or one) of my own pairs perched atop each other. And I don't let myself drive very far in that un-easy state!

The only alteration we had done on the late great Cain dog was on the other end. Takes away some of the aggression.

I didn't have any desire for one, but one of my son's friends moved, and the last thing he did before leaving town was to give my son one of his pit bull puppies. Sure, it was a set-up, but I didn't have the heart to take Cain to the pound.

Neutering and TLC isn't a guarantee of a good personality, but it helps. Cain was a teddy bear. Great with kids and other animals.

and they can be. but I've seen the bite stats which speak for themselves. and these stories are far too common

The whole breed should be put down.
The owners that promote the aggression should join them.
