The light is so beautiful this time of year here. It's the best time to be outdoors in Georgia. No mosquitoes, great temperatures, and the start of fall color in the leaves. I love it.

We're going to ride up to the higher elevations around Kyoto today and see if we can find some leaf colors. It's too early for the red Maples but perhaps we can find some other trees already turning. The air is nice and cool, perfect for a ride.

Cooler today! What a relief! Spider update... I got out of the shower last night and there was the huntsman spider at the bottom of the shower outside the cubicle near the floor. The poor thing only had 6 legs. 4 on the right and two on the left.

I left him alone unmolested and he stayed still. I wonder if he will be there tonight? Lucky no guests in the motel until Monday so he should be safe until then.

-4C. Soon, I won't be able to read waiting for the bus anymore. Even with swapping hands in gloves and the streetlight above the bus stop. The Kindle has taken up residence on my bedside table until Spring.

Aww, such a sweet chicken... now wouldnt be the time ti mention that my menu includes 4 different kinds of chicken this week, right?
