Hi,
I have a Kobo Clara that may be bricked. It sounds like flashing the SD card may be a fix. Can someone tell me where to get an image file?

Finally got around to fixing this after kobo said it was unfixable. Thanks again for the img David.

If there's anyone wondering how to do this there's a very easy tutorial on YouTube for windows folks. If you've got a Mac, it's a matter of formatting the card for fat32, and using Balenaetcher to flash the .img to that sdcard.

Formatting for FAT32 is pointless. The image is a bit-for-bit copy of the card. Writing it will replace everything on the card. If Balenaetcher requires you to format the card to FAT32 first, then you should look for a tool that works properly. Or if the Youtube video told you to do that, I would suggest looking for one by someone that knows what they are doing. Or look at one of the several sets of instructions available here.

Could someone please share a Clara SD image so that I could solve the problem I’m having; my reader is stuck on ”Restoring” mode and just keeps flashing. I hope returning the image would help. Thx.

Hi, I have a Kobo Clara HD that has stopped working (goes into a loading loop, 3 dots then white screen then back to dots), reset doesn't work. I've taken out the SD card and want to install a new image, can someone sent me this image? Thanks!

Hi there, I also need an image for my Clara HD. FOr some reason changing the affiliate to kobo bricked it. Might have used the wrong text editor. Any help would be appriciated.
