I honestly was not expecting this game to go any way differently. Too much circus and pressure for everything to go well and keep things rolling. I would be worried though if i was brazilian. That performance was not convincing at all.

Can't wait to see what i hope will be a lot better football tomorrow. We have a Holland - Spain! Now that should be a big game!

Agreed. Hockey has similar issues and are trying to address it. Part if the problem is the field is very large and the referee does not have all of the angles we have for replays. A sucky call to decide a game, but if it was boxing it would give been a unanimous decision.

For me if ends up being part of the lore like the hand of God.

Three interesting matches today. We'll see if Netherlands have anything against Spain and the Australia - Chile match is very intriguing.

Looking forward to the Netherlands v Spain game very much - it's a pretty big match for the group stage.

I've been on a training course for the last three days but have managed to get away early so that I can even watch the Mexico v Cameroon match shortly.

Mexico definitely deserved to win that one (another couple of dodgy decisions from the referee though).

I think everybody is looking for a great match between the Netherlands and Spain, so I'll predict a dour 0 - 0 draw!
