May be I will start a new post to show people how to make that holder.

Now, I was thinking to find a good leather case (like, daytimer case, notepad holder etc...)to do the same mod and can put my Kobo or any other ebook reader in that size.

I did find one leather daytimer case at Walmart (only $18), but the size is too big.

Anyway, may be I should wait for Kobo to make one for their ereader.
But now I'm happy with my $2 dollar store case.

This is exaclty what I bought at Dollarama too. At first I bought it for something else, but my wife realized it fits the Kobo! I didn't like the zippers on the left, thought they might damage the screen! But your solution is very practical!

Nice one. I called "spam" in his other post, pleased to see I wasn't wrong in my accusation.

The funny thing is that the cases look OK, and all he had to do was say "we're manufacturing a new Kobo case that you might be interested in", instead of pretending to be an unbiased customer of his own company.

Question: since the case in question is to my knowledge the only dustjacket-style Kobo Reader case currently available, and the user's ebay store actually has largely positive feedback, should us non-spammy forum members re-link to it from this thread? Or do Pishtoy's spammy actions negate the possibility that this is a worthwhile product?

Tough call. Depends on how petty you are. I myself am quite petty so I will not post. Though if it was a case I wanted to buy I'd have to reconsider.

I do think it looked like a nice cover, but then again if I post a link to it the spammer just gets what he wanted in the first place. So I won't.

I might buy one and provide a review, but a big might there. $14.95 the case would be a no brainer but at $24.95 I will have to think long and hard about it.

Yeah I've noticed that about a couple of cases being sold at different Amazon stores (the one sir spamalot posted, and the one I posted). I live in Australia, and the shipping cost is astronomical - more than the cost of the case.

Dunno if the Aussies here know about the thread on Whirlpool, but its mentioned in there to keep an eye out on the Borders catalogue that comes out this month as there might be accessories in there.

Somewhat off topic (apologies to all):

Exactly. All he had to do was to admit his affiliation, instead of running around on the edge and pretending to be someone else.

We Moderators are paying close attention to this kind of nonsense, but (to repeat myself) I personally don't think we would be that effective without the help of the Members here at MobileRead who also watch out for this kind of ridiculous behavior from spammers.
