I have to say with a new staff taking over, they are starting strong!

Agreed. Definitely worth watching. I loved Torchwood and was very upset to see it end.

I'm excited about seeing the first show of the new season tonight!!

Am I the only person in the world who thinks Doctor Who is absolutely terrible? I hated it when I was a kid and I still find it horrible now. Terrible acting, weak scripts, effects that make SyFy original productions look good. And, maybe it's just because I've never liked it, but isn't/wasn't it a kid's show? Or is it a Harry Potter thing where it's really the adults who are the audience and they just sell it as a kids thing?

In any case, I'm not having a go at anyone who does like it, I just do not get the appeal of it at all.

it's a completely different show than it was when you were a kid. you've already come out as being pretty anti sci-fi, so why even bother with it?
