Scheduled delivery August 14. Looks like it's currently sitting in UPS's Philadelphia warehouse after having cleared customs early this morning.

Order # 960, mine is the same although it has rescheduled to 17/08/2006 on the UPS tracking info.

However on the attached PDF file it actually stated Shipping date is 18/08/2006. What does your one indicate ?

I guess the priorities of the shipment are : Region, Country then Order # ?

18/08 here, too. This is obviously wrong, as the parcel physically exists and has travelled through several scan points. My email to iRex probably won't get a reply until Monday evening. There's disadvantages to being so close to the international date line....

iRex replied last night that they will investigate and suggested I call UPS as well to put more pressure on them.

I looks like that won't be necessary, as it arrived in Sydney last night, cleared customs and is en-route for delivery.

The last scan in Cologne was obviously when it was placed on the freight aircraft, but I do think that "ORIGIN SCAN" is a bit too cryptic.

Maybe tomorrow.....

And sometimes their scan devices don't get uploaded and you are left with no event updates until hours later.

Delivered, wife is bringing it and we'll do lunch together.

She was unable to connect everything together so I still don't know if it charges.

She reports that the wall adaptor is made by a company in china and their name translates as "Rich China".

Check your spam filter. The email doesn't come from iRex or UPS (see my prior posting).

How's this for delivery.

My iLiad was marked for delivery today, but at my home address so I was going to have to wait for it until I got home.

I received a call from my son's school that he needed a pair of shoes because he broke his. I was going to wait until lunch time but decided to go ahead (at 9:30am) because I was going to get a memory card at lunch time

. I stopped by the house to get the shoes, no delivery. Ran down to the school (at the end of our street). On the way back to work I drove slowly and looked at the porch just in case UPS had come in the few minutes I was gone. Nothing.

I drove to the end of our street, turned on the main road and proceeded back to work. Not 100 yards down the road I passed UPS. I whipped it around thinking it was going to my house. He turned on my street then pulled up infront of my house. I pulled up behind him and jumped out. He asked if I lived there and I said yes, he handed me the iLiad and that was it. Now I have it at work to charge up and play with.

Happy ending
