The first time I downloaded a secure ePub it was a little confusing but I managed to get it into the library and opened the book.

I haven't spent a lot of time with Docs2Go but I used it on various Palm clones and it was adequate for reading and editing Office files.

This is a neat device, it has its drawbacks (mainly the weight) but for a first gen it is excellent.

I'm gonna wait to see how they are with pushing the software updates to everyone, but I'm leaning towards this being the best 1st gen device I've ever owned.

I agree that it is very nice. I want to get my hands on an SDK. I can't wait to see what they make available to developers.

exact weight, zoom?

I'm really excited about the Edge--I'm thinking that either it or the Notion Ink Adam will be my new reader--so I'm glad to see this thread!

2 questions for those who already have 'em, if you could ...

My biggest concern w/ the Edge is weight: the site says 'around 3lbs', but I'm always skeptical of that sort of language. Anyone happen to have the precise weight? Is it in the user manual, perhaps?

Also, with PDFs: you can select an area to zoom into, right? When you do (to get rid of margins/whitespace, for example), does it remember that zoom setting for all the PDF's pages, or do you have to redo it each page? Does it remember it when you reopen the same PDF later? I really like the way the iLiad handles this.

Thanks!

Since I did not get eDGe yet, I cannot answer your second question, but the first question is answered in this thread.

Also, there are multiple threads on Entourage eDGe in 'Which one should I buy?' so you can check there for some more information.
