And, more importantly, from which directory are you running the tool ? The script that is shipped with calibre2opds is very touchy about where you run it from, it HAS to be from the base calibre2opds installation folder (where the bin folder is).
If you want to be able to run it from anywhere, create a script by following the instructions of this FAQ...
Tell me if it didn't help.

As promised, here is the new version 2 ! It has a graphical user interface, you'll be able to generate your catalogs much more easily. The configuration you set up will be saved to a file, and the next time calibre2opds is run from the command line it will use these settings.
There is a Windows installer, and a specific Mac Os X version (bundled as a real Mac application).

Wonderful! It works very nicely indeed on Mac OS X 10.6.2.

on Windows, double-click the install.jar file to start the installer program ; alternatively, you can start the install.cmd script
If you're using Windows 7, you'll have to use the install.cmd script since the install.jar file does not have administrator permission to create the folder in program files.

Open a cmd prompt (using "run as administrator"), navigate to the directory where you saved the files, and type "install.cmd".

It works great! Thanks!

Just noticed that the author "Simon R. Green", with an author sort set as "Green, Simon" is listed under authors beginning with 'B'.

It's the same for for the HTML and XML catalog.

I think that this is related to a known bug (books with multiple authors) which is corrected and ready for the next release.
Thank you for reporting this problem !
David.

Thanks for the wonderful tool, David.

Feature Request:
When there are AZW and MOBI format of files under same title, please leave the choice of download to users and not force it to MOBI download only. (Or please support AZW download too.)

When there are both AZW and MOBI formats under same title, the catalogue generated by calibre2opds - catalog.html - only allows MOBI download, ignoring AZW even though it's there. MOBI and AZW are not totally interchangeable. Even if it is, why not leave to choice to the users?
