I still cannot understand why any one of them are taking so long to get the entire series out as an ebook. this is the type of attitude that causes once honest people to turn to piracy.

I'm currently on pirated book number 6.

Ouch !

Looks like a bad side effect of the agency prising.
I can't find Wheel of time on Books on board anymore.
It's on the uk site, but the uk edition are really poorly edited.

Anyone know a US shop that will sell to me ?

Yup, I'm currently reading "Winter's Heart"

typos, OCR errors and all! I read faster than one book per month, as the current release schedule dictates.

I was surprised to see them gone as well.
But I think (or really really hope) that it is only temporary, and has nothing to do with us being from europe.
I base that on the fact that the books are removed from the US store even before I login to BooksOnBoard. And I do not think they have begun to offer books based on the origin of your IP address, when you are not even logged into their store.

So I cross my fingers. I would hate to go back to the UK editions.

I noticed it as well. Re-read of LoC goes at a steady pace, but this was some bad news. I think they're also not available for US. It has probably to do with the agency pricing model. Hopefully the new e-books will come online in the near future for a reasonable price...

Me too. I'l wait until they are availible again. I can find someting else to read if need be.

According to the BoB newsletter they *think* that all the titles are available again mid-April. We'll see.

FYI, a quick search shows the WOT books are still available here:

And very reasonably priced too. I don't know about geo restrictions, though.

Unfortunatly I never succeeded in buying title via the Sony store. I can see everything and put it in my basket, but when I enter my credit card info it goes wrong. It sees that I am not in the US and of course that is not allowed. Imagine, someone trying to read in a foreign language.... The horror....

Does anyone think that Fictionwise will recover enough from the agency model disaster to get this series back on their sales list? I have some micropay to use up and my first choice would be to use it for a series like this but given the dismal selection currently at Fictionwise I am tempted to use my micropay on the few worthwhile items that are still available on my wishlist in a format that I can use and get out while the getting is still good.

I managed to buy at the Sony Bookstore though, at better prices than Fictionwise or BoB.

I mailled book on board support. Thier answer, as of yesterday was " These titles will become available again through our site within a week or two, depending on publisher."

I'm anoyed at how they have dealt with that...

Even at better price, i'll buy geo-restricted stuff only at the last resort. I'll rather encourage those not putting up with that nonsense.
