Kaz,

You're daughter really is talented. Like Zelda, I thought it was an illustration from a book. I was trying to figure out which book it was from, and it was bugging me that I couldn't figure it out. (My guess was Alice in Wonderland but not the Tenniel version.) I'm looking forward to seeing the mural.

Sometimes I feel like Alice in an alternate universe!!

I showed her the posts from yesterday when she came home from classes and her response was, "Cool, I have fans!!" The child has no humility! She is looking through her sketch books for something I can scan and upload. She was heavily into Manga/Anime for awhile but has (thankfully in my opinion) moved onward and upward! As far as the mural - I am not allowed to take pictures until it is completed! Who knew artists were so touchy?

I show my knitting projects to anybody within the vicinity regardless of it's status!!

Does she have her own account on DeviantArt where we could view her work? (It is a site for independent artists to show off their work. Deviant in the sense on not mainstream commercial although there is a lot of that also.)

RWood - Sorry to take so long to reply, but as you probably know, we had an absolutely gorgeous weekend here in VA. Yes, she does have stuff posted there (I had to ask as she has never mentioned it) but says it is all old and not something she thinks would interest anyone! Now that everyone is back to work, school, etc. I should have sometime to scan a couple of her more recent creations and post them.

I have programmer friends who like to send me whimsical photos. I used a few of them, but when the pictures of outhouses came along, well.....

Nothing particularly special from me. The name is just a combination of my real name and post office box number - which makes it easier to remember who I'm supposed to be logging in as.

Although they do say that 666 is the Devil's number, so I guess that 333 might make me look only half bad - which is about right...

The picture is just me relaxing on the verandah at home. It's re-usable on most forums, whether they're for reading, music, or just rambling on.

Mine is the character Xellos from the anime Slayers. He's a snarky, sarcastic, mocking demon under the guise of a mysterious priest who tags along with the good guys to make sure the wrong bad thing doesn't happen. Rather powerful but not terribly helpful, and the most amusing character of the series by far.
