Exactly. I know a lot of people don't follow both forums, so I try to mention small tidbits like that when they post them, just for the people that missed it.

Just unzip it on the flash card then, and "merge" folders there and copy and replace everything new with the old ones huh? (probably a redundant post this one, just making sure)

That's what I did and when I unplugged the USB the DR detected the update and installed it without a hitch.

three cheers for irex.

ver 1.5 is certainly a major improvement. the wake from sleep is near instantaneous. very good.

the toolbar is nice.

and the small things like the lock icon usable for toggling the buttons etc are just so nice.

thank you irex. some stuff still to be done (like suspend to flash) but usability is certainly way better.

cheers,

/bazmi.

hey guys, did they update the manual or can we have link somewhere at the irex where we can get an overview of the changes and functionality or how to use them.

Thanks buddy. Hey irex great update, not just great actually it's THE upgrade that should have shipped. The toolbar or the lower left is greatest feature of all, but since there's enough space and no obvious limitations in resources why not adding three-four extra toolbar icon spaces THEY ARE MUCH NEEEDED.
