Again, look at the screenshot provided. It clearly says "10.3" HD Carta screen" for one and "10.3" Mobius flexible screen" for the other.

So it does. If correct, it would explain the lower price. Why go back to glass? Very strange! I wouldn't touch anything with a glass substrate.

For real though, what is the thought of going to a glass Carta screen? What positive reason is there for doing this? Price? Writing ability? etc?

6, 7, 8, 10.3, 13.3 are the essential sizes. Some may like larger then 6 and 7.8/8 may be too large.

Amazon says my O3 screen is 7" but it doesn't seem quite that large. I want a larger screen so I can read more and turn pages less. I'm debating the 10.3" models and letting it replace both my O3 for reading and my iPad for email etc.. I may wait a month or two to see if there is really a Note 3 on the horizon.

The Air seems to be an upgrade to about 50% and a downgrade to about 50% compered to the Note 2. The Air does win on price by about 15% or so too, further complicating decisions. I guess the bottom line is "it ain't broke" so maybe I won't fix it and I'll stick with what I have.

6.8 (glass) is only available in 2 Kobo devices (H2O 1/2),
7 (glass) is only available in 1 Amazon device (Kindle Oasis) and 1 Kobo/Tolino Device (Kobo Libra/Vision5),
8 (Mobius) only in 1 Kobo/Tolino device (Forma/Epos2) - so they are special sizes.

6 (glass), 7.8 (glass), 10.3 (Mobius), 13.3 (Mobius) are the most common EInk modules.

Yes, in three points:
- 3 GB Ram instead of 4
- 32 GB memory instead of 64
- Glass screen layer instead of plastic.
To 1: I have Likebook Ares (2 GB), Boox Nova 2 (3 GB) and Likebook Alita (4 GB) and don't notice any difference in this regard.
and 2: if you can't cope with 32 GB, you won't make it with 64 either.

Before the Note Air was released, we tested its durability with a pressure test and a torsion test.

The pressure test put a 2kg roller on the 5.8mm-thick, 420g device and rolled on it in all directions. The torsion test clamped the Note Air with two manipulators and twisted it in opposite directions with the torque of 1N/m, at the frequency of 15times per minute, and tested it for 200 times.

The result turned out that the hardness of the Note Air screen can reach to 6H. The force in the tests didn’t break down Note Air or even created a crack, and Note Air could function well afterward.

That's what I get out of reading the post. Wish I hadn't returned my Note 2 now.

The only disadvantage for me is in the storage area (my Alita works with 512 GB SD), but there are USB-OTG and WLan solutions.
The big advantage is in the design and it is so big that I ordered.

It will survive a ten-story drop, but if you drop it onto a carpet from 6 inches high it will shatter.

Its very simple.
A Mobius Display Module isnt possible with this design.

Do you mean it can't have the Oasis like side handle because the Mobius Display has the connector piece at the bottom/top of screen instead of side?
