I agree, the battery life is fine. If I use it regularly, as in all the time, the battery seems to last forever. As long as a kobo or kindle. If I leave it for a few days while reading on a different device, when I pick it up it seems to have depleted some while sitting asleep. So I changed the settings in power to do a shut down if I set it down for more than 1 day. Takes a little longer to start up initially but it won't use any battery (very little) while powered off.

After the first week of fairly heavy use, it showed 39 hours of screen time and the battery was down to 49%. I usually charge before it gets too low. I plug it in while reading on a different device.

I just noticed that this reader is back in stock at https://www.boox.com/poke2/. It remains unlisted on Amazon, at least in the US.

If you like to take your device out of the cover, even occasionally, you're better off waiting for a third party to make covers for this one. I'm keeping my eye open for when something becomes available.
