A paper clip fits beautifully into one of the smaller pockets of the original M-Edge cover......doesn't slip around, either.

I was thinking of that! They are pointy enough and have the nice safely lock to avoid unexpected pricking of fingers.

I can use a ballpen, and I always have one with my Cybook to take notes.

Yes, a ball-point pen is my preferred "resetting instrument", too.

I use the prong of my watchband. Perfect size for the Cybook and always with me.

Slightly still on topic, I got a new Cybook recently (am planning to give my old one to my sister) and while my old Cybook (original firmware since I could never get the sd slot to work) has never ever frozen my new Cybook (up to date firmware) seems to freeze regularly on startup. Any thoughts whether this this a firmware issue or a newer model issue? Note that this is not a brand new model, I bought it used and I think the vendor said it was a NAEB version so not that new hardware wise. Not a big concern since it is easily reset.

That's a firmware issue, I think. My Cybook (from the very first batch) runs build 796, and it freezes now and again on the second boot screen.

Oooh shoes!

Lessee...

I have walking shoes, lightweight walking shoes, walking shoes with toes (wonderfully comfy!), a pair of smart-ish trainer/pump things, Birk sandals, a pair of calf length boots that I adore because they're the first pair of boots I had that fitted my calves, some Victorian-style ankle boots with small heel in purple that I can walk in, some Victorian style boots in brown with a similar sized heel that I can't walk in, some absolutely gorgeous purple/pink/white striped shoes that I can't even take two steps in, and about three pairs of Victorian-ish shoes with carying sizes of small heels that I can walk in...

Most of these were bought at the insistence of (and by) the yeti - if it were down to me, I'd probably be in my walking shoes most of the time

Oh, and my evening shoes - the oddest pair of heels that I've ever seen, but incredibly, incredibly comfortable and stable:

My CyBook is just a few weeks old - newest firmware (build 834) and hardware (400MHz CPU). At first I tested and tried all different kind of things (formats, fonts, MP3 etc.) and had several freezes/resets.

Since nearly 2 weeks I just use Mobipocket files (no other formats, pictures or music), have only about 15-20 books on the internal memory, always turn off manually and have had no freezes so far.

(BTW: I turn off/on a lot cause I use every spare minute to read a few pages...)

Maybe the assumptions one has written in another thread, about always turning off manually and such are true?!
