And it is just wasting everyone's time making multiple requests, whether they are a post, a PM or a friend request. It does not get a reply earlier because I always reply at the first opportunity I have. Multiple requests just mean I have to waste time working out which ones I have to actually reply to.

Ho Grand Sorcerer, I need help! Looks like I'm another one with a Aura HD n204b that cant boot anymore (getting the white, black, white flash...nothing on screen). Seems like the only solution is the Holy Image!

Would you mind, please.

Hi,

Because my Kobo drive did not mount on any pc/mac and with several different (data) cables I had a try with formatting partitions of de SD card. The kobo won't start anymore and just a white screen is showing. Can anyone provide me an image to copy to the SD?
I think its a Kobo Aura 2nd. can't find a type indication on the device.

The model name and number should be on the end of the device with the USB port. But, there is a complication for the Aura Edition 2. There are two versions and they need different images. Unfortunately, the only way to tell is from the serial number. The first version has a "0" in the 7th character of the serial number and the second version has a "2". Or, if you know when it was bought, we can take a guess.

Hi, Thanks for your reply, I will get the SN as soon as possible. The Kobo is 3 approx. years old.

And there is a date : 2017.08.1?

I think the date says it is the version 1. But, would be near the end of them. So, I have sent a PM with the link to that. If it doesn't work, I can send the other image.
