Of course you've heard of the Town Car. It's the Lincoln Town Car.
That was the point, there are no such animals. Just a writer that didn't do their research.
Oh and side note: don't try to get in the back of a Supra if you are 6 weeks from your due date.

I have an indoor antenna which does work but it wasn't the super cheapest one. Of course where you live in relation to the TV stations/transmitters makes all the difference. If you are too far away or if there is a mountain blocking you you won't have much luck with an indoor antenna. I am lucky that where I live I can pick up all the main networks.

No mountains but the towers are anywhere from 15 to 30 miles from town.
Also NBC has not upgraded their transmission since the 1970s. I can't even pick it up with an aerial antenna.
I talked to all 3 locals to find out where the towers are located.

Oh and one other little thing I learned with a small indoor antenna. Do not place it between a refrigerator and the TV. I thought the station was having a feed problem at 245 every day. Turns out, the refrigerator motor was kicking in. I moved the antenna and now it works better.
Note: my kitchen and bedroom share a wall.

Except that was exactly my original point.

Wouldn't it have been easier to say the negative, "I can't find those cars" instead of sending me a link which I expected was the positive, but I could only determine was really the negative by reading the whole thing?

I've re-Googled when challenged, I've read a link given to me, both turn up nothing. Kinda a goose-chase waste to be sent off twice to find nothing that is different from my original post. Come to think of it, add that to my author annoyances gripes.

Theducks linked to the Supra link to show there was never a station wagon.
So you re-googled because you didn't believe the wiki.

No. It wouldn't have been. Then others would have googled. Posting a negative link does the same thing.
So are you saying that one shouldn't post links showing something doesn't exist. Only the positives?

I appreciated the link.

We read the posting of the link two different ways.
I saw it as here iseverything about the Supra so no one else has to google.
So it wasn't a goose chase.
If I post a link, I will make sure to post exactly why so everyone knows exactly what I am talking about and no one can come back with that doesn't show a non-existent item.

Another thing that really annoys me is when I'm really enjoying a book and it ends.

I did not disbelieve the Wiki, nor did I re-google then. You got the order wrong in order to come to those conclusions.

I googled once just before my original post, being careful enough to double-check, even though I know cars, and probably verified already way back when I read those books. Found nothing, so posted what I already knew with certainly, never marketed in the U.S.

She first implied that these cars existed, by talking about importing cars and that the author should state exceptions. I responded that I was 99% sure not, hoping to stop having my original post waste others' time. Later I stated that I was a car nut, same reason, to forestall wasting time doubting my trivial post.

The second time I googled was when she asked me this question, "Did you google Supra? I did."

Since her previous post was pro-existence, I was thinking she found something, because why the post otherwise? Curiosity aroused, I responded and asked for a pic of those cars (what else can that mean other than the Supra Station Wagon and Chrysler Town Car?)

She responded with the Wikipedia link, no text telling me it was not those cars. Why should I assume she was giving me the negative when I asked for pics of the positive? Words would have helped. I was already slightly annoyed to get google-challenged like teenagers do, rather than her just telling me what she found. This response giving me the opposite of what I asked for, required me to carefully read the whole entry. I already knew what she sent me looking for, and she knew I knew, but still made me work.

A little more time and thought invested into posts can save an awful lot of others' time.

Heck I googled myself because like you neither car made sense.
Heck the only hatchback car I can think of that later was made into a station wagon was the Pinto Station Wagon. (Just the car a teenage girl needs.)

As to your last line: I will totally agree. Or even reading posts might help.
Right now there is no jailbreak for 5.9.2 anything firmware kindle.

I had a Pinto station wagon. Gave it away at 120,000 miles to a friend who got it to over 220K IIRC.

This admission invalidates my claim that I'm a car nut.

Especially when you consider that they could catch fire when rear ended. That happened on the Interstate, around 1975. It closed the Northbound lane for over two hours and killed the family riding in it.

Oh yes, mom freaked when dad said he was getting me a pinto. She also knew someone that had been rear ended and killed. She was ok when she found out it was a station wagon.

Can't blame your mom. Giving your kid a Ford Kaboom? Having the fuel tank burst into flames after a rear end collision was bad enough. Finding out that Ford knew about the issue but didn't fix it because fixing the issue would cost more than $137 million while the 180 deaths and 180 burn injuries would only cost society $49 million? This from Ford's own cost-benefit analysis.

Yes, the issues with the Ford Pinto were exaggerated and it was pretty much as (un)safe as any other North American made compact vehicle of it's era. The perception though was driving a Pinto qualified as a death defying act.

I wonder the logic behind giving a teenage girl a station wagon.
I think the most people ever in it was 8.
