Posted version for series eBook T61 and T62.

Posted universal update for eBooks Boyue and Gmini, which are stamped with a label "rk30sdk".
This update:
1) saves this label that will allow, if necessary, falling back on the native firmware;
2) not tied to the audit device because it does not contain in itself the core of the device;
3) he doesn't care what your display Pearl or Carta;
4) is only designed for updating from SD card, do not try to flash it with PC!!!

Do not use this update for restoration of your device with the PC!!!

I noticed that if I long press the back button, a virtual d-pad pops up, but none of the buttons work. Is there somewhere that it can be configured?

Thank you, I guess I was not specific enough.That is for the hardware buttons, which work fine. See attached for pic of virtual D-Pad. It is the black square in the middle of the screen. It appears if I long press my back button and would be very handy if I could get it to work, but currently none of the selections on it are clickable.

T62C_174_Gonyx

Hi FOV,
I updated T62C_174_Gonyx_S512mD1g.
Update process went well, thanks.
What I wanted to know is, if this the general "rk30sdk" update brings any difference to the T62C_174_Gonyx_S512mD1g update?

This popup menu is a relict from the onyx firmware and is not working and was never working. Sorry.

T62C_174_Gonyx - Relaunch as Home-App problem

I still have this problem with http://www.the-ebook.org/forum/viewt...asc&start=2160 (ReLaunch) replacing the home app. Sometimes it boots into ReLaunch but most of the time I'm stuck in bootloop. Any ideas how to solve this?

May encounter a situation where when you turn on books when you download is not lit backlight is not appear main menu - the book hung on the splash screen.
If tried several times to turn off and turn on the device, but the situation has not changed, it is possible to solve this problem:
1. Power down the device.
2. Hold down the backlight button and turn on the book - then you will enter in "Recovery".
3. You need to choose "Reboot" and reboot the device and the book should boot normally.

When the book is connected to a power source or to the PC, this was not observed, normally loaded.
A similar situation was with the mod the of version 1.7.3 .

Thanks for the tip. Good to know I'm not the only one with this problem. Will try it next time bootloop happens, though till now I was avoiding switching the device completely off.

It turned out this problem was observed due to an external flash card.
When took out a flash drive from a book, then the book began to boot up normally.

Looks like something prevented it to boot normally, you may need to identify the causes of impediment to the normal load or the selection of other compatible flash card.

Constant bootloop - SD card eject helps to solve it

Just logged in to confirm that removing the MicroSD card during boot is solving my issue with the bootloop. Thanks for the tip.

Wait. So I can switch from Onyx to Boyue firmware back and forth by simply putting the update.zip files on the internal sdcard?
