You can add books from calibre to Marvin while Marvin is connected from the main calibre interface. You can also use calibre's content server and Marvin's OPDS feature to add books to Marvin wirelessly. G Last edited by GRiker; 12-12-2013 at 07:18 AM.

@Nemrod: Have you installed the iOS reader applications plugin and configured it with Marvin as your preferred reader application? Have you started the calibre connector in Marvin? G |

Your device log shows that you have an iPhone connected, but no iPad Air. If it is connected, check that it is visible in iTunes. Check your cable. If it's connected through a hub, try connecting directly to the computer with a known good cable. G |

Marvin XD is for managing books already installed in your Marvin library. To add books from calibre to Marvin, start calibre with your iPad connected and the calibre connector active. Select books in the calibre window, then click Send to device in the calibre toolbar. Close the calibre connector to return Marvin to its normal operation after adding books to Marvin. After you've added some books to Marvin, then you can use Marvin XD to manage those books as described in the first post in this thread. G |

Plug iPhone or iPad into PC (64bit Windows 7) Start Calibre. Select book select send to device and only offered Main Memory no iPhone /iPad or Marvin.

Once you've started the calibre connector, the Marvin screen will change and show a dialog titled calibre connector. Are you seeing that? G

Marvin / iOS Reader Plugin Missing from Calibre

I am trying to install the plugin but am unable to find them in the Calibre list of plugins. I've searched for iOS, Marvin and Greg Riker (found 3 other plugins but not the one I'm looking for) - no luck. Am I missing something? Thank you. |
