Yes, that's my fault! I didn't sort the folders file! I already fixed it some days ago. It will be included in the next release!

REQUEST OF HELP:

I'm debugging the last release.

I have some problems with select menu (http://www.w3schools.com/tags/tryit....tryhtml_option).

Everytime I hit any of the option, I get "Unable to start application" error.
That's strange as:
- some select menus work
- some don't work
- some work if I "pause" the javascript using an alert box
It seems like a sort of low memory error.

Any clue?

Hi silver18, I just read this thread looking for a solution for a problem (full screen images) I posted in January. Got back only now in the forum and found your app.
That said.... where I should start (after the jailbreak of course, that I have not done yet)? I found a lot of zip files in the thread and I'm afraid to break something.

P.s. Sono italiano anche io (grande ratman!), se hai bisogno di debug sono qui e si riesce a parlare facile nei msg privati!

Thank you very much! I installed and tried your app: it works like Kindle Touch should have worked out of the box.
I don't know if you already fixed this, but I'll list a couple of things:
1) If there is no 0.jpg in the folder, the app says "Folder not found" that is misleading in this case.
2) If there is a 00.jpg, same as above
3) In the home screen of the app, there is "Choose a folder from the ones below" and the first five folders. But if you tap them, nothing happens. You must Tap the button and then choose. I tapped the list for a minute before accidentaly tap the button :-D

Maybe someone is intrested, i made this simple PHP script to help with making compatible dirs for this app.

what can do:
- rename all files of a dir, starting from 0.jpg
- read a .mngl file made from Magle (http://foosoft.net/mangle/) and create a working directory copying all files & renaiming them
- uncompress a .cbz comic book file to a direcotry and rename the content

as for now the gallery script does not support PNG, be aware that sometimes you still need to mass convert files to jpg format.

Hi there!
I'm adding support for PNG files.
It will be possible to display mixed type images (JPGs and PNGs in the same folder) as the "app" will detect the filetype.

Anyway, I still need to add again few controls (negative image number, non-existing image, wrong folder)...

I'm waiting to release the new version due to the new firmware 5.1.0!

As the rotation is included in the new firmware, I hope they fixed the problem related to select menus (you can view this problem in landscape mode when tapping on the "adjust scroll": the popup menu isn't placed in the middle of the screen. This means long menus are cut!!).

If Amazon has fixed this problem, I can use select menus in landscape mode just like I do in portrait mode!!

I'll fix it as soon as I'll check the new firmware (and I'm going to release also a "normal" landscape mode for those not using 5.1.0!).
