View Poll Results: Do you carry your (eInk or LCD) eReader everywhere?
Yes, it's my security blanket. I have bought purses/jackets/clothing around my need to carry it at all times. 87 32.58%
Yes. Well, most of the time. I'm not as obsessive as the people in Option 1. 89 33.33%
About 50/50 for me. The people in Option 1 and 2 are pretty extreme. I like pina coladas. 39 14.61%
Not really. I didn't vote in Option 3 because I thought it sounded kind of sanctimonious. 34 12.73%
No, I keep my eReader at home, often in a locked safe. If I don't take the wrapper off, it will accrue in value. 9 3.37%

1. It's about 50/50 for me.
2. I like pina coladas! (and getting caught in the rain)
3. I don't think the people in option 1 and 2 are pretty extreme.

So, as the dinner staple sings, two out of three ain't bad!

My Sony 505 is with me at all times. If I have a couple of minutes waiting at a train station or bus stop, I'm reading. If I'm eating a meal alone, I'm reading. If I have an appointment and am in the waiting room, I'm reading. AND... there is always an hour or two each day at Starbucks... reading.

And God forbid, something forces me to leave my Sony at home, I read on my iPhone. No problem.

I specifically bought my 350 to live in my purse, so I'd never be caught short while I'm out and about. I keep my Touch in a pocket for those odd moments when my purse might not be in reach and to be honest also for those moments I can whip it out discreetly, when pulling out a reader even as petite as the 350 would be too obvious.

I voted the first option because, I can't bear doing nothing or just waiting. I carry it everywhere with me, and even last week when I was at the yearly assembly of my photo club and boring (to me) matters where discussed, I discretly powered it on and read till the next interesting matters. Beforehand, I always had a paper book with me, the e-reader is more convenient : smaller, lighter and a lot more to read, never without something to read...
