The Strange Case of Finley Jane by Kady Cross, on Kobo Touch. It was a short little steampunk prequel to the Girl in the Steel Corset series. I'd give it a 3.5/5.

A Clash of Kings, by George R. R. Martin. I was re-reading the series, couldn't find my copy of Clash of Kings, and was desperate to continue the series immediately. I borrowed a Kindle and read an e-copy of, eh, dubious legality.

The first ebook that I ever had the good fortune to read (and the one that showed me that ebooks were even an option) was Have Tech, Will Travel (the first book of the Star Trek S.C.E. series). I got it for free on my Palm Zire 71.

I think it was Star Trek TNG: Death in Winter by Michael Jan Friedman. I breezed through the TNG relaunch after that. I thought it was pretty cool to have the whole series in my pocket. I just went from one to the next over a couple of months without stopping.
