I'm having almost the same indecisiveness. I can't decide if I should get the mysteries or not. So, I caved, because y'all are bad influences.

I ended up buying all of the ones Sourcebooks lists as regencies, and with the coupon discount (thanks for that), it was just under $40. I've spent way more than that just to get the entirety of a four book series before, so I actually feel pretty thrifty.

Blame it on The Grand Sophy - I finished it yesterday, enjoyed it so much that I wanted to get as many of her books as I could

I got 6 at Sourcebooks and 1 at Amazon; I'm a little ticked at myself 'cause I got Venetia in PDF in error

I don't think I'll rest easy until tomorrow comes along

Never mind, I still have loads of Agatha Christie titles to read from when they were on an amazing offer at fictionwise a couple of years ago. (22 read, 61 to go!)

Alrighty then...I left it til late, but finally took advantage tonight. I already had Cotillion (Amazon freebie) and Footsteps in the Dark (B&N freebie) plus grabbed Sylvester the other night when it was briefly a freebie. Now tonight I have picked up the following in epub directly from Sourcebooks:

Frederica
False Colours
Devil's Cub
Venetia
Grand Sophy
Convenient Marriage
Nonesuch
Talisman Ring
Quiet Gentleman
Cousin Kate
Black Sheep
No Wind of Blame
Unfinished Clue
& GH's Regency World

Then from Amazon I picked up Friday's Child.

Total spent = $20.89 (thanks for the coupon!) + $1.99

I won't have a chance to download them and import them into Calibre until Thursday...I'm out of town without my PC so no authorized ADE so it'll just have to wait.

Another last minute purchase from me, mostly because I wanted to finish up reading the former freebies Footsteps in the Dark and Cotillion before deciding.

Went and splurged on all the available mysteries and historicals that were in ePub format + the Regency background companion direct from the Sourcebooks site. Many thanks to apesmom who posted the WELCOME2011 discount coupon code for the extra 25% off upthread.

Decided against buying the romances just now, although I did quite enjoy Cotillion and liked it a lot more than Footsteps, on the grounds that when I dropped off my books at the library today and went to see what Heyer they had, there were 20+ listed in their catalogue, a dozen on-shelf, and nearly all of them were the romances with one or two historicals and nary a mystery in sight. And that's just the tiny local branch in the neighbouring pocket municipality.

So I figure that if Sourcebooks does this sale again in a year or two for Heyer's 110 or 111th birthday*, I'll be prepared to get the ones I've read and liked by then, though likely I'll just splurge on the lot even though I'm normally a no-romo if the prices are as good and there's another coupon to boot.

* Places love to offer sales for "round" and special-number anniversaries, I've noticed.
