You know what? I started reading the thread thinking that there actually WAS a new firmware delphi had gotten his hands on. First thing that puzzled my was the version number, but I thought to myself maybe it's some weird way of numbering. Then my eyes bulged when I read the first review and realized that there was no talk of folders and it seemd like most things we already had were no longer working.

And then I noticed the date of that thread and decided to pray for a shipload of spam falling onto the evil person who did that to me...

I should have known, though. The way delphi reviewed should have given it away immediately: Nobody would write things like "that and that isn't working yet but it's no problem, I'm sure it'll be fixed in the next firmware" nowadays. Everyone knows that even if we live long enough to see the next firmware most of us one live to see the one after that...

At least now I know that I must have been lying to myself to say that I don't really care. When I saw that thread I nearly fell off my chair

Don't worry. I had a similar experience yesterday. You have my compassion. We must be strong in these hard times for cybook owners, we have to stick together.
Everything you do, Snuffi, don't give up, bro' in arms.

I was just kidding. If you ever heard that song, it would be impossible not to make that association.
Great minds think alike, huh?
I'm not sure about the same age inference of yours, though.

Yeah well, back when I *WROTE* it, I was fantasizing of the possibilities (which were endless). Now, I am a shattered hulk, mumbling non-sequiturs on my lonely, dirty park bench! And you deserve every bit of frustration and disappointment you experience for forcing me to relive the horror of my collapsing dreams!

Oh !

be calm my beating heart
just a posting art-

and sought to shake the Bookeen team
awake, and tear their breakfast crossants apart.
