I spoke of one type of security problem; I did not say that there were no security problems at all. My post:

Security researchers have reported finding an early test build of SMS-grabbing malware designed to resemble a legitimate Android security application.

In particular, the Android malware attempts to fool users into installing it by trying to disguise itself as Mobile Security 9, which is legitimate mobile antivirus software from Kaspersky Lab.

That is a function of your trolling behavior. When somebody feeds the troll the thread starts to get off track. boswd was just responding to your post which had absolutely nothing to do with the thread subject. You have suckered me and others into feeding your troll, so you are good at what you you do I guess.

Back to the Toshiba Thrive, I'm going to take a look at it at Best Buy during my lunch break. Yay, now if only I could justify spending so much money on a tablet when I have a totally sufficient netbook, phone, and sony reader. hmmm, I'm sure the justification will come to me when I see it, lol.

Thanks Ana Yeah I'm heading to me local Staples after work to get my hands on it. Last night I played around with the HP Touch Pad, that thing was pretty darn cool. I love the WebOS UI, what a wonderful experience. I can def. see where the Blackberry playbook borrowed heavily from it. Both could be my favorite UI, but I do love the Honeycomb though. The Thrive looks interesting. Full ports are sweet.

Yes, I would love to buy a TouchPad (for my wife, of course, I will just borrow it occasionally ), even though the hardware is not that appealing, it is still good enough. And in the end it is the software that really matters. Sadly HP doesn't say a word on when more language versions will be out and if they will have the same firmware with switchable interfaces (like iOS or Android) or different firmwares in different countries.
