I do not know if it counts as a sentence but one of the most important things I ever heard was what my My Grandfather always believed.

“Trying and not succeeding is not failure, never trying is"

This has allowed me to pick myself up numerous times.

Lord Byron was the place I last read it and my mind was a blank (no jokes about that being its normal state) as to where it was before. I had just finished formatting Manfred for the Harvard Classics series when I posted the comment.
