Two more days in the high 80's F - and THEN - our first real cold front is supposed to roll in and drop our daytime temps by 20 degrees! Yippee! I'll believe it when I start shivering!

Since the blasted Dismal Swamp fire was started by lightning, I suppose this is the right thread for it, but it could probably do as well or better in the Vent & Rant & Throw Stuff thread also.

This crappy fire is giving me a headache. The winds have been blowing in our direction for days, and my nose is irritated and my sinuses hurt. I feel like kicking Zeus's butt!

Lower 30s C daytime, lower 20s C at night. Already 27 at 8am, but breezy so it is nice. And apparently will stay like this till until the beginning of October, which is perfect for me. Not too hot, just fine !
And the vacationers are mostly gone, so the beaches are not packed anymore.
